Meeting with the European meat industry

Meeting with the European meat industry

We kindly invite you to participate in events concerning the trade of European pork and beef. The first meeting of the “Meat with European Quality” campaign will be held in March. We believe that effective business relationships that are beneficial for both parties are best established during personal meetings. Now you have the opportunity to get to know the fundamental quality of European meat.

A trade mission to Poland of importers and professionals of the meat industry from the United States and Canada will take place on 7-13 March 2019. A seminar on the issues of international meat trade and meat production standards applicable in the European Union is an important part of the program agenda. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss interesting issues with an elite group of producers and exporters from Europe, guests from the United States and Canada, as well as representatives of national and EU institutions.

Visits to leading meat production and processing plants as well as presentation of the rich European product offer will be a practical continuation of the issues discussed during the seminar. Participants will be able to learn about the processing cycle and production standards arising from European Union regulations and internal quality standards.

In April 2019 in turn, representatives of the European meat industry will meet with business partners in Canada and the United States. On 1-2 April, we will visit Grocery & Specialty Food West in Vancouver, where meetings will be held, and for the next three days (3-5 April), a study visit in Los Angeles will be carried out by the industry experts from Europe. According to the program, meetings with American importers and B2B talks in cooperation with chambers of commerce, as well as visits to branch stores, will take place.

The European meat industry stand at the SIAL Canada fair will be another event planned as part of the campaign, in late April and early May 2019. Details will be provided soon.
